I know nothing about them as a group, Firenze, and wouldn`t know Harry from any of the others, I just like that "get up and dance" song.  ;D
Bet you were a real "twinkle toes" Un1corn! :D

I hope you are ok today, Firenze and that everyone is having a good weekend. I am just chilling after a great, but tiring day yesterday. Back to the music,  Jeff has recently compiled me three cd`s of my favourite classical music.  :D :-*

That is a lovely thing for Jeff to do, as you know the loss of my husband  was long ago but way back he  did  exactly the same thing for me and put my favourite music onto tape, that will tell you it was long ago.   I have no tape player now but always intend to ask a boffin to transpose for me onto CD I am sure it is possible. I did listen now and again over the years but it is very emotionally draining to do so.
You will always enjoy Jeff's thoughtful music Rita.

It is good to have a tape of favourite pieces, something to keep.

firenze, I am sure your tape could be turned into a CD quite easily, just ask some enterprising young person.  :) :)

Thank you for your kind words Firenze, I can imagine that it is emotional to listen to something so treasured, I have a cd of Bee Gees music which was a favourite group of my late Brothers and though I listen to it regularly there are some tracks that bring me to tears, especially Words which was played at his funeral. I wish we were in contact with each other as Jeff would happily transfer your tape to disc for you.  :-*

firenze, there's an offer for you (knew there was an enterprising young man around somewhere!). Would you entrust it to the post, via careful packing and special delivery?

An enterprising young man wow! He has blue eyes as well, What a kind offer Rita I would hesitate to ask do you realise the tape is at least 35 years old,  poor Jeff would be mortified if all that came out was silence it is very possible that is all that is left. I scurried to find it having forgotten where it may be not having played it for a very long time it maybe is little more than a keepsake now. You are a dear to offer such help the computer seems a strange place to have found such good friends :-*  I shall enlist my grandson to find a tape player on the strange markets he is aware of.

Rita, an aside as a result of looking for the old tape was,  that I found a big picture in colour an Uncle sent to my then young son of the only still flying Lancaster which was based at Coningsby that was  dated 1979 also a print of a Johnny Johnson formation flight and signed by him at the same display guess where citizen? Southend Airport! I had the JJ print framed for him but where now? The Lancaster is found again.
