I just had to reignite this thread after this revelation! Is it any wonder that so many are on the benefit train when the punishment for getting caught is - nothing. Suspended sentence and a curfew order! No pay back after scamming £140,000 of our money! PATHETIC!

Although I'll never comment on benefit, VAT or income tax fraud on the forum, if you want me to I'll email you some interesting facts & examples. I'll also give you an understanding of how & why the 'official' benefit fraud figures are sanitised for gullible public consumption.

Yes please Phil. It's odd that it seems very few people care about such blatant theft of our money. This sort of person should be made an example of, not let off! makes me fume!
