For those who have taken an interest in my tree peony, which has not flowered before in four years, here are some pictures:

They are lovely C68. We have a peony (not a tree peony) that has flowered beautifully for the last couple of years, it's burgeoning nicely at the moment, fingers crossed!

Monty Don had a very good article on the Tree Peony in The a Yorkshire Post Magazine this week it was very informative on care etc; I will keep it.
Is yours the shrub variety GrannyMac? My Pa was a devotee and I grew up drowned in deep red enormous blooms he loved them, a lovely memory.

Yes Firenze, its a perennial shrub with rich pink blossoms. I'll try and post a pic when its in bloom.

That would be nice Grannymac, I will dare to add a pic of my Pieris, the White flowers just blew off but the colour is good...lovely Mother Nature! Apology not reduced can't do it
