CC provided some pictures of true bluebells, also some white ones, but I have some in the garden which are pink! They
are
bluebells, aren't they?

Absolutely no idea but they are very pretty
. For some reason I have always believed that blue was a colour that didn't appear very frequently in nature and when it did it was mainly in alpine type flowers - but I have no idea why I think that

I think pink bluebells are Spanish flowers,
very pretty too

No, not English Bluebells. These are the invasive Spanish variety that is threatening to eradicate the English ones, particularly in Wales.

Oh, no! CC will now consider me one of Nature's vandals! I suspect my predecessor brought this plant back from Spain. What a shame that something so pretty could be so deadly.
