They usually are. It's been donkey's years since I went to see the bangers. There was one with a ramp and the winner was whoever did most sideways turns in the air. What amused me was the pasting all these MOT failures took before enough bits fell of to stop them. A friend's brother used to drive in them and his prep was mostly to just put in a scaffolding roll cage, replace the rad with an oil drum in the boot and sledge hammer all the wheelarches up so they couldn't shred the tyres. The old Sweeney style Granadas were very successful. Probably more safety rules now - I've seen a wheel come off and go through the crowd.
So long and thanks for all the fish

Just to let you know the 4.30am running club will be in operation on Saturday. Meet on the Wyndley Leisure Car Park. You are unlikely to be arrested.

There is a fair chance the public will go stark raving mad on being let out. The queues at Primark bear witness to that. Even if in fact very little has been changed, most of us have had quite enough.

In the meantime we do have the 4.30am running club. The forecast looks good till then. We are looking for a replacement for Fred who has joined the 4.30am running club in the sky.

Now you've done it. With no responses I was happy to let this wither on the vine but now I'll have to ask for it to be moved.

No. Arthur is fine. We had 17 members and we now only have 16. Clive the next oldest member is only 97.

Time for all variations of running club and times between 3am and 6am to go into the profanity filter imo.
