Your pics Coastal are a reminder of my favourite location, The North Yorkshire Moors they are wild and wonderful. In our motorcycling days it was just us and it!  We lit our little camping stove and heated soup, a little gurgle of water that rose from nowhere over cobbles then disappeared again.

You'd be wary of doing that now, a serial killer might pop out from nowhere.

I prefer black and white when the weather is bleak it is more atmospheric. If that's the right word ..

In the age of film Scrumpy we use a yellow filter which darkened the blue sky, allowing the white clouds to really stand out making the photograph far more interesting. It really captured the weather conditions.

A very long and sturdy footbridge over Llyn Trawsfynydd, but I'm not very good on wooden floors over water, I managed to get about 30ft and chickened out. ;D

Reminds me of the rail/footbridge between Morfa Mawddach and Barmouth which I have walked many times (only in sunshine).

This is the River Elan in Elan Village, which is just over the bridge near the Visitors Centre, one of my new favorite spots.

It's a lovely spot GM,
This would be the "High St" more sheep on the road than cars, and not a shop or pub in sight, it was built to house the workers and families of those who looked after the dams and filtration systems for Birmingham Corporation.

Thanks GM,
the lake is a couple of miles from home, Elan Village is 12 or 15 depending on route taken.
