Hello
« on: Jan 30, 2016, 08:39:04 PM »
Thank you for allowing me to join you.
I will give you some idea of what you have let yourselves in for.
I am 65 years old and live with my wee Jack Russel Terrier called Murphy.
I retired 5 years ago from the NHS and have loved being free to do what I want when I want. I read a lot when I am not on line or watching telly.
My hobbies are antique fairs and shops I like oriental bits and pieces. Diving and occasionally shopping.
If you want to know anything I am a fairly open book and might reveal another page or two of my life .

Welcome Murphy, glad you brought yer old lady along...Spent some years in the NHS myself...Hope you enjoy yourself here..Oh, we don't "allow" anybody..The site has a wide open door and collects all kinds of strays, waifs and reprobates as well as some really nice people. You'll soon get to know who's who. ;D

May I add my welcome ID.  If I had a dog it would be a Jack Russell.  I have given this much thought as dogs and I seem to get on so well and the JR is to my mind, just the right size and full of joy and energy.  Unfortunately (for dog ownership) we are frequently away, so it is not fair on a dog.  I hope to hear more about Murphy as time goes on.

Hello Izzi, I used to really enjoy antique fairs, auctions and some car boots.  But that was before everyone became an expert and there were bargains to be had.  Now I just tend to watch programmes about antiques, like bargain hunt.
