franden,

your becoming and expert, the scenery is very good  do you use your imagination, or do you copy, either way its very good,  I can see you becoming another constable, how about having a go at  the  haywaine,
im sure you could do that proud too,
Q; do you paint in oils or water colour.

Alfred.
I drew this picture and painted it in watercolour when I got home.
What sort of constable do you mean? The 'ello 'ello 'ello type or the one with paintbrush.
By the way very few people know the name of the river in the Haywain painting.
Do you?

hello franden .

constable the painter, and sorry I dont know the name of the river, either,
recently I heard that the horse and cart  was added to the picture that was known as the haywayne  that constable had painted which made it famous , I believe the story I had heard was true,

Franden and Yellowbird...no not Constable but they are yours and I think they are lovely!  Well done you both, I would love to paint but every time I put on my Artist Smock I produce Play School  :'( :'( :'(

Yellowbird.
That is fantastic! The detail you have put into it is remarkable. Do you exhibit your work?
I do not. There are several art clubs around here but I do not belong to any. I paint for my own enjoyment and when Iv,e finished one it goes into a box file.
Please show us some more.

Franden, I thought your cottage was wonderful, I especially liked your thatch.  I paint with a group of friends sometimes for pleasure of their company, I'm not nearly good enough to exhibit. Mine too go in a box file and every now and again I tear a few up, I can just imagine when I pop my clogs my boys saying heavens there's even more to burn !

Oh I wish I could paint half as good as these! They are truly excellent.
This post is my opinion, which you may not like, but I'm entitled to it.
