"Appointment with Fear!" used to scare the bejazuss out of me; Valentine Dyall's creepy deep voice, yet you dare not switch off lest you missed something!

I bought a lot of them on MP3 Discs from Ebay several years back. I often listen to them when I'm doing my online jigsaws or knitting. Favourites at the moment are, Jimmy Clithero, Navy Lark, Man in Black.

Oh Jimmy Clitheroe was my favourite.... I used to laugh my head off listening to him on Sunday lunchtimes while we were waiting for our Sunday dinner - I loved his 1/2 hour programme - all those daft scrapes he got into with that gormless guy who had a stammer... WWWhere's me ssshirt???" . think his name was Alfie .. boyfriend of Jimmy's sister Susan ...I'd have been about 7 or 8 at the time.  I always thought he was a real little boy and years afterwards when I saw a picture of him somewhere I was so disappointed to realise he was about 60!!!

I have over a hundred episodes of Jimmy Clitheroe on an MP3/4 disc that I got from Ebay, not ploughed my way through them all yet but really enjoying hearing them again. Same with the Navy Lark.
I remember when Jimmy Clitheroe became a TV Show, but it wasn't the same and didn't really take off.
