Oh Jimmy Clitheroe was my favourite.... WWWhere's me ssshirt???" . think his name was Alfie .. boyfriend of Jimmy's sister Susan ...I'd have been about 7 or 8 at the time.  I always thought he was a real little boy and years afterwards when I saw a picture of him somewhere I was so disappointed to realise he was about 60!!!

I have over a hundred episodes of Jimmy Clitheroe on an MP3/4 disc that I got from Ebay, not ploughed my way through them all yet but really enjoying hearing them again. Same with the Navy Lark.
I remember when Jimmy Clitheroe became a TV Show, but it wasn't the same and didn't really take off.
