Couples pension
« on: Mar 18, 2021, 09:08:27 AM »
Hi all hope you are all keeping safe. I retired when I was 60 due to I'll health, my wife is my carer and gets £67.40 a week she also gets her stamp paid. I was born 1952 and get full government pension plus my private pension. My question is my wife has had a letter inviting her to claim her pension but no amount, I get £356 every 2 weeks in state pension does anyone know what we would get as a couple please, I know that we will loose our carers if we do claim my wife's pension. THANK YOU ALL IN ADVANCE  Mike

No one except the DWP can answer your question so your wife needs to contact them & ask for a pension forecast, although when I had my invitation to apply, all my pension details were included in the letter.
