issues

As in "I've got issues."

What is wrong with the word 'problem'?

Personally I always think if someone has issues the next question has to be, "From which orifices?"

I've noticed that people no longer 'enjoy' or 'like' their jobs or interests, they're  'passionate' about 'em..

You can blame Alan Sugar and his business game for that. I would never describe myself as "passionate" about business although I do enjoy the thrill of the deal.

Another phrase I hate is "pension pot".

It connotes something miserly and frugal as though anyone who had saved or done well during their working life did not deserve what they had amassed.

I just see pension pot as a commonly used term with no connotations of anything in particular. Perhaps I have no imagination.
