Sure, but that's not nearly enough to run a country!

Under the terms of the Human Rights Act, Article 8, Boris Johnson & his wife are entitled to enjoy a private life.

As is each & every one of us.

I wish Boris & his wife all the best.

I agree... Whatever he does there will be those in opposition that will find a funny/silly remark regarding his private life..
Everything will be alright in the end, and if it’s not alright, its not the end.

His private life is so chaotic it is a matter of public  interest.  There was the little matter of  police attendnce at a domestic.  His holiday in Mustique, and his liaison with Miss Accuri to name a few.

My post was confined purely to his new on-the-way child.

At his age I was a grandparent not a parent, he will be over 70 when the poor kid is a teenager.
None of my business I know, but I have know a few people with very old parents and they all wished they had younger ones.

In my opinion being Prime Minister is not a job that should be done by an older man with lack of sleep after being up half the night with a screaming baby.  His good/bad impared judgement is my business.

I wonder if family life does affect his judgement?

There is a difference, but, in the case of a Prime Minister, imo that it is not huge.   Boris must expect his private life to come under the most intense scrutiny because of his careless and ill considered behaviour.
