To far out for a paper boy, but very good window cleaners
Mike

I'm lucky enough to have both a paper-boy AND a window cleaner..

I remember O Level physics included learning about the arms lifted by a solenoid despite them being completely obsolete even back then.

If you had wanted to learn about flashers, you would have had to do it in your own time.

 ;D ;D ;D

We did learn about bimetallic strips but only as thermostats. I imagine a flip-flop circuit is cheaper these days.

our window cleaner [who just happens to be the last man i punched on the mouth] charges £3.00 for our two windows and our front door, a few years ago he suggested he was thinking about putting it up to three-fifty, so i shook his hand an said 'good-luck wi that' and continued to pay £3-00..
how much do you pay your window cleaner?   i cant wait to hear Mikes reply, him living in the wilderness  :o

£16. He, sometimes with his wife, comes once a month and hasn’t upped his price in about eight years. Large bungalow, don’t know how to count the glass involved in a meaningful way, but the conservatory alone is about 150 square feet of glass, never mind the house

Live is expensive in the sticks - to be honest, it’s money well spent
