oh, and just had another look at it- I'm afraid that the card was totally justified in this day and age. A few years ago, it wouldn't even have rated a penalty, but with the modern - also fully justified - concern about concussion, Lydia Thompson's attempted tackle was marginally late. but more importantly, she made no attempt to go in low - clash of heads was inevitable, as was the card.
