heart breaking - to play with 14 against 15 for an hour, only lose by three points and then nearly snatch it at the end. That red card lost them the match.

oh, and just had another look at it- I'm afraid that the card was totally justified in this day and age. A few years ago, it wouldn't even have rated a penalty, but with the modern - also fully justified - concern about concussion, Lydia Thompson's attempted tackle was marginally late. but more importantly, she made no attempt to go in low - clash of heads was inevitable, as was the card.

First time I saw it was the ruggers team and I thought, 'if I was on the pitch and watched that I would slink away'
