Migrants!

Our border force has actually taken back 13 boat refugees to France, seems like they got away with it, as they have to take them to the nearest port, which was said to be Calais

But why were Border Force in French waters ?

The cost of Housing, maintaining Migrants seems to be running out of hand, in this side of the World.

Perhaps it's time to act quickly and get an International Migrants Charity set up.

i.e. Multiple Countries, already taking the financial hit, fund a charity which sets up Charity funded Migrant "Hotels", Training Centres, etc.in each of the "funding" countries.

That way could lead to two fixes:-

1) The Public could pay in whatever they chose, as it's a Charity, thus, partially, fixing the public feeling resulting from bearing the cost.

2) The Migrants would be looked after, Medically, and retrained to fit vacancies wherever.


A, say, 50 million quid donation, by each Country, would start the right ball rolling - in the right direction? (and might end up being a cheap solution?)

I think Teddy they’ve (Europe) has already thrown billions at this problem, both home & away.
I’m just wondering where throwing money at it has actually worked?

I listened to a comment from a peaceful protester in Eire, where all Hell is letting loose.
His major concern was (just like the rest of us), undocumented illegals.
What stood out was, “there was no protests here when Ukrainians were coming in, why? Because we all knew they were genuine & needed our help”.
Fair comment methinks.

IMHO, one of the problems of saying that the UK is a multicultural country (or countries if you prefer) is that it is permitting other cultures to do and say what they want despite the fact that it is contrary to the wishes of the host population’s own culture.

Because they were genuine refugees fleeing war. Not the same as the Muslim idle free loaders entering this country illegally.

There’s a list of countries where these people can’t be sent back to. Then there’s another list where countries won’t accept them back.
If I wanted to know the lists, I’d need to ask an illegal, they’ve probably got those lists on their phones.

I watched a black fella in Dublin say, “I’m gay & they kill gays in my country”. That’s how easy it is not to be sent back!!
I listened to an immigration lawyer list out the reasons why folks can’t get deported. One reason that caught my ear was “global warning”, I’m mean FFS we can all use that one. Does that mean I can just crash into any country & use that excuse 😂

That's what is so annoying - Ukrainian refugees were the young, the old and the vulnerable - while fit young Ukrainian men (and women) stayed to fight and defend their Country.  In the case of the boat boys, many are fit young men who think their own Countries aren't safe places - yet they are obviously safe enough for the mothers and sisters they happily leave behind.

Where’s the first tent city going to be in the UK?

Some cruise ships can take 8,000 passengers plus 3,000 crew. What about sticking a few of them out at sea, process all migrants onboard before they make land here?
