Let us admit we dont know all about what goes on around the Lifeboats and those who volunteer.


What are their thoughts? Do they have any? Would they want them to be published? Have some resigned because they now are seen as a taxi service.


I wouldnt want to be known out of fear if I was employed by the RNLI. Have you seen or heard what is going on behind the scenes there? I have,and its firghtening. And to speak out would be an act of suicide. Better you just drop out and say nowt for fear you say something non PC and which could get you sacked from your regular employment and a hate bottle of lighted petrol through your front window by the Care4Calais people who always advertise themselves as compassionate,that is,unless you dont air their views!


There's lots of questions out there to ask,but non will report it because people are too frit. Its all very strange,because those who espouse the most Love in the world seem to be the most venemous and aggressive if you question their ideals. I think its Hope not Hate that would have your guts for garters fried than any said neo nazi. For sure,you dont cross these guys.


If I were RNLI I would be seeking counselling for fear of any upset I could bring upon myself by upsetting RNLI administration than any experienced by picking up 70 illegal immigrants coming over from Calais. You dont cross the mafia.

Firstly & before we potentially leave the ECHR, we leave & how does that stop the boats, it means the UK can do what exactly?
Secondly, why can’t France, Germany, Spain, Italy, Greece etc ship these people out?

My simple take on the RNLI is, to save and help those who are in distress or danger at sea.
It’s scapegoating to even bring the RNLI into it, the RNLI are being put in a precarious position because other bodies & Governments are not doing their own jobs.


I’m no fortune teller but jeeez you can see with your own eyes what’s happening across Europe. Governments are falling, so called “safe hands” are getting booted out.

I disagree, those who end up at Calais are not shipped there by other European Governments, they get there via open borders right across Europe.


There needs to be radical thinking over this, which will entail crossing the UN and just about every other International Body.

No it means ( I think ) that they apply and are processed in the country of origin ? No that can’t be right so it must be on the way .

The problem is & always has been, the country(s) of origin accepting them back, seems to me in many cases they even don’t or won’t.
It goes right the way back to stopping the flows into Europe in the first place.

Whilst doing other matters I see Poland is to hold a vote asking if the people want to have in more foreign migrants. What! I thought we were the most democrtic and well governed country in the world. Well,thats according to the BBC. If as I expect they say no,I guess they just turn about would be entrants to the country. Yet we cant do that. Then again,the EU is dictating theat Poland should take more and is fining them for each migrant not accepted. But Poland is having non of it.  This it appears,Poland is in the EU but not having none of if diktats. What can you make of it all but that our masters are sycophants,unwilling to do that which so worries and agitates its common people. Then again, our leaders refuse to listen to those who elect them.

Our “sea border” was a Godsend 10 years back, now it’s a nightmare.

The land border I used to use crossing from Turkey into Greece has changed beyond recognition. A river was the divide & open fields either side of that river. Now on the Greek side, there’s a 20ft high fence with cameras & barbed wire.

I know this D, once inside the EU, there are no checks on people, it borders on being illegal to do so. A bit like stop and search here, needed but when its done all Hell lets loose.
I personally don't have a problem with genuine refugees from live war zones, the problem is, the gap between a refugee & someone just trying to improve their own financial way of life seems to be merging.


Asking sailors to turn boats around at sea must surely go against everything they believe in & have been taught.
This continuous blaming of "the smugglers" is a total copout. FFS you cant "smuggle" 500 plus people a day in broad daylight, people live and businesses operate all along the French coast. There's no deserted coastline in France.


I pointed out before what some elite bod said in Brussels over the sharing of refugees/migrants etc. He didnt say sharing across the EU, he said sharing across Europe.

They can fly a plane down the coast and see what’s what or a drone .
But why should they it’s in their interest to move the immigrants elsewhere .

At a guess, I’d say those inflatables are delivered to the point of departure in boxes & inflated using a generator as & when needed.
I was reading that these inflatables are potentially being produced in Germany......it wasn’t too long ago we were all being led to believe that they were made in China.
Can’t believe anything anymore from anyone who has a platform from ANY Government.

It's true that the RNLI's job is to rescue anyone in danger at sea, and so perhaps their people probably feel that they are only doing what they signed up to do.


On the other hand, they could claim that they have picked them up just over the border and take them to France, that being the nearest coast.

Exactly.  That is why I am convinced that France is complicit in sending these illegals over the Channel to our shores.
Of course, they don't need to send them all the way.  Half-way will do, and they often accompany them to make sure they arrive at our sea border safely in the full knowledge that we - being stupid idiots - will come and pick them up.

I maintain, though, that the only reason they all come here is because of what's on offer.  Hotels rather than tents, etc, etc.

For that reason, the solution to this mass invasion is perfectly simple.
Offer precisely nothing that is over and above what they receive in the EU.

To ensure that they are not attracted into our ever-increasing rates of crime, which often goes unpunished, issue IDs and increase the levels of punishment.  Something long overdue anyway.

Refugees are a money spinner from the moment they leave their house. Someone earns off them from the off, from smugglers to businesses to charities to Governments.
