Not at all - she was an excellent teacher doing the job she was paid to do - namely teaching us (30 of us) English language and Grammar.

the overuse of the word    BASICALLY


in my local in Barnet was a man who earned the nickname Biker   because of his repeated use of the word BASICALLY  which due to his accent, he pronounced   BICYCLY

My young neighbours pepper their speeches with ‘obviously’. Obviously it is not needed or indeed relevant to whatever they’re saying so obviously it becomes an irritant and obviously I stand listening, waiting for the next time they say ‘obviously’. One of these days I shall obviously start counting.
