us lads watching the lasses standing on their hands against the wall and placing bets as to which lass had forgotten to tuck her frock into her drawers, or forgotten to wear any drawers at all if we were REALLY lucky !

but then again, some lasses were so boring that if they'd paraded naked down tattersall road in rotherham not one eyebrow would have been raised
These lasses, or "ords" as we called em were condemned to a life of "ordinary" and runner upship, at which they excelled.

Anyone remember clackers I think they were called . A small ball on either end of a piece of string  that you had to get to hit together above and  below your hand  and boy you knew it if you didn’t it hurt your wrists  like hell .

Another one which I remember a bit later on is the plastic ring you put over your foot that had a piece of rope with a ball attached at the end but can’t remember what that was called

I remember the clackers and used to be really good at that until mine started disintegrating and throwing sharp splinters everywhere that would stick in your arm and face.
Best fun was blowing up Airfix soldiers with bangers and other explosives though. And climbing trees right to the top.
