No, the young lady made an excellent sound and look alike of Kathy Kirby, who at that time was my favourite female singer
Who was Kathy Kirby?👇
Catherine Ethel O'Rourke 1938 - 2011. She died in Brinsworth House Twickenham, from heart troubles.
I remember KK ,she was very popular and quite lovely . We both as well as her  must have been born around the same time ! A romantic story scallywag .

Just one of many from early 70's after just setting off into the big wide world of work. Oh happy days.

A man with one watch is always certain of the time. A man with two watches can never be sure.

1943 was my year to be born in one of my paternal grandparent's two pubs of the Notting Hill blitz hit landscape.

Yes, Mrs Scally hit the right spot at the right time by proposing to me on stage following a performance while she was my lead singer. I say the right time as I was going off the rails with promiscuity following a split with my 1st fiancé a few months earlier. That was well over 57 yrs ago and we're still singing from the same sheet🎶🎼😉

I've no idea what others + google have told you, but here is the method I use to good effect.
First open the vid you wish to embed. Then right click over it and you will be offered a choice of actions. Choose "Copy video URL" and then left click upon that. Now your browser will have stored the current URL which you can paste into any forum reply box of your choice.

So many...where to begin!

Since I'm Canadian, and...

..failed. Apparently I can't post external links yet. Fair enough.

Love Dr. Hook still. They all had a great time performing!
And '55 was a damn good year!

Dr Hook - "I Got Stoned And I Missed It"  (Live from BBC show 1980) (youtube.com)

Preferred this from Dr Hook

I enjoyed that one.    A real  foot-tapping/clapping song, with good guitar.    :good:
