JPR RIP
« on: Jan 09, 2024, 04:51:04 AM »
JPR Williams, the legendary full back for Wales and the Lions, has died aged 74. To the best of my memory he was one of that glorious period of Welsh rugby who never lost to England.
Thank you for the days, the days you gave me.
The older I get, the better I was!

I remember having a few beers with him after a Hospitals Cup match in the early 70s, he was playing for St Mary's. His parents were both doctors too.

RIP JPR

great player - a Welsh friend of mine back in the day reckoned I only mentioned Rugby once every twenty years because that was about often England won against Wales!
