Bad news.

Andy has died. A lot of people are upset including non family members.
Peter is now the chief dog.
I have spoken to Dog's Trust and they have said they will let us have a dog as other family members will have him if I pass away.
The woman assured me he will be the best dog in the world equal to Peter.

Sorry to hear about Andy, Brian, I know when I lost my dog how I felt, they become part of the family.

We will get a new dog.
Andy will understand how badly he is missed and he has left a big hole in our hearts.
The new dog will fill 99% of it but it will take a long time to fill that final 1%. Andy was 15 and he has had a good life.

One consolation. He did not suffer. We are going to get some love from the homeless dogs at Dog's Trust. I am sure one will be coming with us soon.

We are at Dog's Trust now. A miniature poodle named Rufus has taken an interest in us and he appears to be talking to Peter.
I feel sure Peter is interested in him.
They have got to check the house but I think Rufus will think the house is OK.

Yes, get the Poodle, they are the best dogs and so intelligent too. I have a Toy Poodle. He’s 20 months and a brat but everyone l meet out walking, loves him!


I was Sorry to read about Andy. He sounded a nice dog.

Dogs Trust has visited and the lady approved the house. She noticed a bit of the fence was loose. We have nailed it up just as a precaution.
That is all the lady found was wrong.
We will be going to Kenilworth tomorrow and Rufus will be coming home with us.
He is a year old and will have it hard to start with as he has got to get us over the loss of Andy.

Good news. We have been approved by Dog's Trust and we will be collecting Rufus soon. I am76 so there is rusk Rufus will outlast me. There are about 50 dog lovers in my family so now he has come in he will never leave the wider family, We have told him that and he appears to approve.
Oddly a dog had to move from Bournemouth to Liverpool but he got a home immediately his owner died.

Brian, Good News.... Studies have found that dog owners live longer than non dog owners.
Also, dog owners health is better than non dog owners health.
