Hi

I don't want policies, we have had years of them.

What I want is a Government which can get things working, because at the moment very little does.

Unlike conscription last time, I expect the females will also be included.

The lure of University life, seems to be getting away from home and having a party, so the conscription should fulfil that need in them, and could give them a better idea of what they actually want to achieve in life.

Conscription is a stupid idea and has no place in these modern times.
What 18 year old in their right mind would want to train to become Ďcannon fodderí in the event of a war?
It has been said, this is seen as a good idea by ĎBoomersí. Let these mouthy boomers go and fight then and let the young kids have a life. They arenít all wasters.

Conservatives will never win the election now. Theyíve lost my vote..... not that it would make a difference!

HI

Conscription, best joke I have heard so far

The Russians could wipe out our Conscripts with an attack of Gluten.

Nothing new about the National Service idea...what I find amusing is that it was Rishi who ditched it when he was Chancellor!!

I can't make up my mind about national service. It would have to be different to what it was before, but in a lot of cases it might do the young ones good, they would learn to stop being entitled, and offended by everything. Best of all they would be separated from their phones and learn to deal with people face to face.

Just my musings, don't get all uppity.  :-\

So when they do their National Service, will they be divided into specific groups depending how they gender-identify?

I think Iíd like to know a few more details as to precisely what it would entail before passing judgement.

Trouble is that I suspect itíll get watered down an awful lot, and away from what might have proven useful.

Or, it's just Rishi rambling.
