A driver has overtook me several times when the lights had changed to red. He also told me 4 cars could go through after the lights have gone to red.
He did the same this morning. Suddenly blue lights went on. It was an unmarked police car.

Fascinating Brian, absolutely fascinating. There are some very strange misguided motorists living around Brum. Where did he tell you that gem of a statement -- in the local pub after a few pints ?

Oddly on the Tesco Car park. I passed my test in 1965 and I never heard of that.
I must be a very good driver. I passed first time less than a month after my 17th birthday.
My 2 daughters passed within 6 weeks of their 17th birthday. Sadly both of them have had drink drivers crash in to their cars.
One of the drink drivers said she was not insured. She was.
