I am a long way off that figure even taking my property into consideration.    I believe all pensioners living alone should get 50% discount, I blame the Government

The Community Charge AKA Poll Tax would have done just that! A couple would have paid twice the amount of a single person household.  But the Great British public didn’t like the idea.
