Meanwhile, back in the real world. I believe that Manchester United will build its new stadium nearer to the M60 and Trafford Centre. It’s a blooming nightmare for traffic where it is, and I suspect it’ll do nothing useful for the already busy ring road/ motorways when it moves.
Personally, I think they ought to move stadiums out into the middle of nowhere, where nobody wants to go other than to watch football.
